How Ready Is Your Child To Face The Challenges In Life?
Knowledge is important. However, that alone is not enough. In this fast changing society, the application of knowledge and the creation of new knowledge and the ability to learn are even more important.
The quality of our children's life is directly related to the quality of his thinking. What do the children need? The analysis of “Why?”, the learning of “How To?” and the understanding of the purpose for action taking to complete the many problem solving cycles that our children would encounter.
At Scharff-VIP, we work to empower our children with responsibility, courage and confidence to succeed via our V-I-P Success Model. Our VIP Success Model has been developed to further enriched our flagship programme, the Math Olympiad training that has been researched in the “Think-Things-Through” project headed by Dr Yeap Ban Har of the National Institute of Education (NIE). The research findings validated our philosophy and methodology to be in-line with that of top educator’s, namely Marzano, Fogarty and Prof A Costa.
The aim of our programmes is to enable our children to conquer challenges and achieve their goals and aspiration by helping them not only to acquire practical set of thinking tools but the values-based mind set to see to our children’s success in school and in life.
